Home from the hospital
Had my lap RnY on Wednesday. Everything went wonderfully. I was really surprised that there was no pain past the day of surgery, and even then it was just a full, gassy feeling. I'm sip, sip, sipping, walk, walk, walking, and pee, pee, peeing. The biggest pain in the butt is the JP drain. That will come out Thursday. I want to thank everyone on this site for all the help and support (even if you didn't know you were giving it). I have to go, now. Have a great day!

Congratulations and welcome to the Loser's Bench! Sounds like you are having a pretty textbook recovery so far, just be sure not to overdo, as Darlene said, follow your surgeon's guidelines and you will be reaping the rewards of having gone through this life altering surgery!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
